Deep Cleansing Balm ~ Cloud 9 ~ Woohoo Cleanser
Luxurious, soap free and a divine citrus aroma - this organic cleansing balm may be the best thing you ever do for your skin. Dissolves the oily impurities in your skin, gently melting away daily grime, oxidised sebum (black heads), makeup and sunscreen.
The ‘Cloud 9’ Deep Cleansing Balm cleanses and moisturises at the same time (unlike common foaming cleansers). By using organic plant oils to dissolve the oily impurities in your skin, it gently melts away daily grime, oxidised sebum (black heads), makeup and sunscreen without leaving your skin drier than an Australian desert.
Good cleansing is the cornerstone of healthy skin. But we often fall into the trap of rushing the cleansing step in our routine, and reaching for a cleanser that bubbles up and strips our skin of its natural oils.
You may not realise, but over-washing (and the subsequent drying) of your skin can trigger big problems. Oily skin becomes oiler, increasing breakouts, and dry skin becomes drier, making it look older and more susceptible to other issues.
On the flip side, cleansing with a product that respects your skin's balance (acid mantle) stops that post-cleansing dryness and makes sure you get more benefit out of the headline acts in your skin routine – your serums and creams.
You should also find that you need less of the expensive serums and creams when a quality, acid-mantle-loving cleanser is used.
How to use
There are lots of ways to use a cleansing balm, no right way and no wrong way, but here are 2 of our favourite ways :)
Option 1 (with water) - Mix an almond-sized amount in your hands with a few drops warm water to create a rich milk (just the smallest amount water should be enough because too much water will stop the balm from doing its job properly).
Option 2 (no water) - Warm an almond-sized amount of cleansing balm in your fingertips.
Option 1 & 2 - Massage into your face for around 30 seconds. You can leave it on for as long as you like for a big moisture boost and even deeper cleanse. Gently remove the balm from your skin with a warm damp Konjac sponge or soft cloth. Pat dry with a towel. Use morning and night.
